General Rules 1. We're a semi-realistic pack. Indeed characters may have colours which one won't in the wild; reds, blues, yellows etc. no neons! But we still require realism in our actions. This meaning your character won't have any super powers, they can't fly, they aren't invincible - oddly coloured wolves if you must. With the ability they will have; able to move/wiggle, point their fingers/toes - giving it a 'Disney' feeling, indeed. However, they'll look and act completely realistic other than the things stated above.
2. Semi-literate to literate. Sure we don't want to rule out anyone that isn't completely literate, and therefore we'll take no one who's below being semi-literate and up. This is to keep roleplays interesting, without having to deal with extremely short, or one line, posts. Should you want to join but you feel as if your literacy levels 'aren't all that', feel free to hang around the pack and rp until you feel comfortable submitting an application.
3. Activity. People have lives outside of the game, sure, so I don't want to have members putting FeralHeart and the pack before their OOC lives. This being said, seeing members at least 2-3 times a week would be nice. Activity checks will be carried out every 2-3 months. If you haven't posted a reason for being absent, then you will be kicked. Should this happen more than once, you'll be given a warning.
4. There will be warning given, and the maximum you'll be given is 4. However, if you disobey rules, disrespect members, staff will discuss what happens with you, and such things will lead to one being kicked from the group. Should said member continue to harass or be mean, they'll be blocked and if seen fit reported.
5. Mature. Although sexual encounters won't happen in the open, the use of drugs isn't encouraged, we do require our members to be mature. 13-14 and above is preferred, though younger members can join at their own risk. Matings won't be roleplayed out before out members, and such things WILL be taken to party or whisper. However, cussing/swearing is allowed. - Mature jokes may be made - Mild sexual references may be used - Swearing is allowed None the less our members are friendly and welcoming, and this shouldn't put you off. You have been warned however, and therefore we don't expect members to complain or report pack members to mods -unless they have been insulted directly in a hostile manner, which screenshots will need provided - as this has happened in other groups.
6. Members should respect one another, especially OOC. Should members get in to conflict, log off, go elsewhere or ignore one another until you both have calmed down. Speak to a high ranks, and we can help resolve the situation. None the less, pack members should not be blocked.
7. Listen to higher ranked members and staff. There's a reason why we're here; to keep things in check. If you have any concerns or suggestions, don't hesitate in coming to us. Indeed we may come across as 'scary', 'intimidating', but I assure you, we're as friendly and as understanding as they come. None the less, we should be respected and listened to.
8. Please keep personal issues out of group chat. I'm aware that it's best to get certain things off of your chest, and I'm sure many will offer a shoulder to cry on. However, that being said, some things can also upset another, and therefore personal issues should be spoke about in a private chat.
9. Rude attitudes, abusive language and so on will NOT be tolerated. Should you completely disrespect another pack mate, or bully them, you will be immediately kicked. We want this to be a place people enjoy to come, not fear.
10. Ranks can be changed, but only staff can allow you to change ranks, or rank those to a higher tier. Staff also only have the ability to accept or decline members in to the pack, or any litter applications.
11. You can have as many characters as you can handle, but we do expect you to be active on most, if not all characters. You can add and take them as you please, but it's preferred that those who have deep connections with pack members don't suddenly leave or possibly die. It's nice to build relationships, friendships - have your character grow.
In-Character Rules 1. Keep IC happenings IC, we don't want any unneeded drama. Should thing be brought OOC and drama i caused, warnings will be given, or whatever consequence we see fit.
2. When approaching strangers within territory, ask before doing so. Some are simply OOC visiting friends or observing, so ask before approaching. Anything unrealistic will be ignored IC, and this must be stated before approaching if one states they have powers. Remain respectful, and only attack with consent, or they attack first. Strangers can be dragged out should they pose a threat, but shouldn't be attacked unless they attack first.
3. No god-modding, power-playing, auto-hitting, or any of that annoying jazz. This will be completely ignored, and during spars and fights, will go completely unnoticed.
4. Pups cannot leave camp unless accompanied by an adult, one which has experience in combat is preferred, or a group in order to stay safe and be able to watch the young as best as possible.

Sparring/Combat Rules 1. Auto-hitting, god-modding and power-playing is not accepted, nor will it be tolerated. It's not realistic and simply ins't fair on the opponent. Any of these will be an automatic miss.
2. In spars it's preferred that severe attacks aren't performed, generally anything that's effect the character in the long run, or which are difficult to be dealt with; nerve damage, internal damage, breaks, genital shots and dislocations. However, depending on the host dislocations and genital shots MAY be allowed - just not to the extent they'll be effected in the long run.
3. Fights are usually a fight to the death, unless one surrenders or runs away, and therefore there's little to no restrictions. Should either opponent state they don't want their character dying, respect their wishes and don't go ahead and perform such things.
4. Take in to account the size difference. Two fighting will fit in to either category of a light weight or heavy weight, either offering different possibilities, and should be used. They can work to ones advantage.
5. Before a spar there should always be a Medic, or the participants should get a willing Medic before the spar begins. Spars can be hosted by those VIII and above.
6. The 3:1 ratio is an important rule. For every 3 attacks, at least 1 of those performed should hit. This is the rules which we're familiar with, but it also makes the spar and/or fight fair between those participating.

Ageing Rules
1 IRL Day = 6 In-game Days 5 IRL Days = 1 In-game Month 1 IRL Month = 6 In-game Months 6 IRL Months = 1 In-game Year 1 IRL Year = 6 In-game Years
This isn't a must, though it's just a guide to go by. Keep in mind your character won't live forever, and will gain injuries and/or health issues throughout their life. Regardless, as they age they'll deteriorate. Size Rules
There isn't much of a restriction on this, however we don't want fully grown wolves the size of a pup. At least have them at default at least. We wan't to keep some realism. Unless they have a medical condition, such as dwarfism, which will make them smaller.

Mutations and Defects These are conditions in which your character/s are generally born with, inherited from one within your family because of genetics, or some may come on by health issues and such. There will be rules and limitations as we don't want members running wild on having mutated characters. These mutations are realistic and will NOT give your character special abilities. As of yet they will not be capped, however, they will be if things get crazy.
Dwarfism: Underdevelopment of the body, giving it a short structure. Canines get a condition called 'osteochondrodysplasia', this being an abnormality in the canines growth ad development of the bones, cartilage or both. Dwarfism most effects the legs of the canines, and in worst cases it can make the mid section of the canines shorter. Comes with many disadvantages and will often cause pain and discomfort. Realistically, this will not make your character small, petite or delicate - with the same abilities as everyone else. With this your character will have abnormally short limbs, and therefore will find it difficult to run, hunt, decrease in stamina - generally decrease the skill level as a whole. If you want your character to have this mutation, then they'll be limited to the rank of a Healer, or stationary Guard.
Albinism: Your character will have a lack of melanin, which causes your character as a whole, or selected parts, to appear white and/or pink in colour - they'll look almost beached. Therefore, they can be pure or partial albinos. If pure, your character will have pink eyes, nails and skin. The pink colouration is caused because the blood vessels show through more clearly. With this, your character will suffer more in warmer weather, the sun, as their skin will become more sensitive, tender and delicate, and they'll generally lack the ability to stay camouflage unless in Winter. Your character may be pale or white, but there's a different between this and being albino. Those with this defect are best to avoid the rank of a Hunter.
Melanism: Your character will have a greater amount of melanin, which will give them a darker appearance as a whole, if not, it'll make them completely black. Basically the opposite of albinism, so the darker colouration offers them better camouflage in their environment, and allows them to hunt easier at night. Again, your character may be dark furred, though one with this condition is generally pure black with no other colours other than possibly grey.
Deafness: This can either come on as your character ages, or they can be born with it. This is simply when your character is unable to hear, still giving them the ability to use the rest of their senses, they just won't be able to hear sounds. Your character will be able to learn to live with this defect, and it shouldn't cause too many issues. However, pick their rank wisely. Indeed they'll be able to take part in pretty much any rank, but they will have to rely on their other senses.
Blindness: Again, your character can either be born with it or it can come about as they age, or any other reasons. This is when your character is unable to see. Now, they can be partly blind, or fully blind. Partly, depending on how bad, they'll still be able to see though things may be blurred, their colour or shape may be off, in both or just one eye. Fully again can occur in both or one eye, though with this they'll not be able to see at all. Being partly blind your ranks aren't limited, but decide wisely. If fully blind, it's proffered to stick to ranks such as Healer or possibly Guard, which required you to stay close. Cleft Palate: An opening between the mouth and the nose of an animal, this happens when the tissue which separates the oral and naval cavity doesn't grow together properly. This can either be in the animals lip, or the roof of their mouth. Pups will only get cleft palette as they;re born with it, and therefore because of where it is, the pups will often have difficulty eating solid foods as the food will get stuck in the cleft, which can also lead them to choking, or getting infections, and find it difficult to exercise should they live through out - highly unlikely. Pups will only get with from toxins or if their mother had a viral infection, viruses, lack of nutrition and such during pregnancy. Generally leads to death for the pups.
Hip Dysplasia: Soft tissue which support the hip becomes loose, which causes the head of the femur to slip in and out of the socket. These actions can damage the tissue of the joint, which leads to osteoarthritis. Excessive amounts of exercise can cause it, especially in much younger and older canines, lack on nutrition, and obesity - or one being too heavy. Will cause lameness and pain for the individual, as well as their gait being off and needing to decrease their amount of exercise. Can occur in one hip, though usually occurs in both.
Note: if you're wanting to have your character have a mutation/defect, then PM me. If you have any that can be added to the list, PM me.
